The quick fixes for common bumps.

macOS says quez "can't be verified" or is "damaged"

This is a one-time macOS safety prompt for new apps, not a real problem. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway, then launch quez again and click Open. Full steps are in Getting started. (We're completing Apple notarization so this will soon go away.)

The app won't open at all

Make sure you dragged quez into your Applications folder first (don't run it from the disk image), then follow the "Open Anyway" step above.

A build stopped or hit a limit

If you're using your own Claude plan and hit its usage limit, quez will offer to switch to quez Cloud so you can keep going. Otherwise, just send your request again.

The preview is blank

Press ▶ Run to start the app, then open the Preview tab. If it was already running, click the reload icon. Still stuck? Ask the agent: "the preview isn't showing — can you check the app?"

I don't see the new version / update

quez checks for updates automatically. To check right now, open the quez menu → Check for Updates…

Where's my code?

Right-click any file or folder in the Files panel → Reveal in Finder. See Owning & exporting your code.
